Bringin’ Daniel back.
I miss him when he’s gone. He’s a very good tool for jokes.
A cartoonist will almost always try to find a way out of drawing a background. Look at the 3rd and 4th panel here. Instead of drawing a back ground I slapped up some shadowy design. I also attempted to use these shadows to help convey the emotions of Daniel while he spoke.
Yet no matter how you paint the picture, I was just being lazy. So here’s a tip to my fellow cartoonists:
Always draw the background! It looks better, helps you think more about angles and framing, and it can only improve your artistic abilities as a whole.

I wish I could blame this comic being late on the election but unfortunately voting has nothing to do with remembering to put this booger on the site last night.
But maybe today is the day wishes come true so I’m going to do it.
It’s the election’s fault.
