Hey everyone. If you know anything about me you probably know I listen to a butt ton of podcasts. I like to argue it’s to expand my knowledge of current events and the world but honestly their sole purpose is to give me something to listen to while I draw.

Of all the podcasts, This American Life is probably my favorite. It’s funny, interesting, relevant, and WAY too professionally done to be given away for free on iTunes.

Ira Glass may be the lead singer to Weezer, Superman, or both.

Which is sort of the problem they’re having now. They needs donations! They needs ‘em! I’ve already donated and I’m hoping I can get you guys to pitch in as well, or at the very least get you to start listening to the show. (Because, seriously, it’s awesome.)

Think of donating not only as a way to support public radio but also as a way to support LF! Without This American Life I’d probably have to start drawing to the music I listened to in High School. That would have serious ramifications on the comics! Plus, how many jokes can I be expected to think of about Everclear? (Four.)

What about SOUTH America? HUH?

So please, if you can, visit their website and donate a few bucks. It’s tax deductible and all the funness! Also it keeps Ira Glass employed, and that dude is way too adorable to be left on the streets.
